Siembra y Sigue
Client Work | Logo and Brand Identity Design

Project Overview
Siembra y Sigue is a permaculture initiative based in Northern Tenerife, dedicated to producing fresh, local fruits and vegetables. The owner wanted to stand out in a crowded field of local farmers. My task was to develop a brand identity that would be both effective and easily relatable to the community.
Challenges
The primary challenge lay in designing a unique, memorable brand that would stand out while staying true to the earthy, organic nature of permaculture farming.
Process
Client Briefing: Gained an understanding of the project’s goals and core values to better align the brand identity.
Market Research: Conducted an analysis of existing competitors and the target audience to identify opportunities.
Concept Development: Moved on to initial sketches, keeping the focus on simplicity and memorability.
Logo Concept
The ‘Siembra y Sigue’ logo features a unique plant inspired by corn, set within a rectangular frame. The plant serves as a universal symbol for both traditional agriculture and innovative permaculture.
The rectangle adds a modern, focused element to the design, contrasting with the plant’s organic shape. Below, an abstract representation of soil grounds the composition, tying back to agriculture’s fundamental reliance on the land. Overall, the logo aims to be both memorable and relatable, capturing a wide audience while setting the brand apart in a competitive market.

Brand Colors
Dry Paint: This warm, neutral tone introduces a handmade, traditional feel to the brand, resonating with the earthy roots of agriculture.
Chayote: A vibrant green shade that not only reflects the lushness of crops but also pays homage to chayote, a local produce item sold by Siembra y Sigue.
Forest: A deep, earthy green reminiscent of Tenerife’s native pine forests, grounding the brand in its local landscape.
These colors collectively communicate the brand’s connection to both its local environment and broader agricultural roots, while also adding layers of meaning specific to Siembra y Sigue.
